For breakfast, Mr. Jobe ate 3/4 of an apple and a banana(that weighs 1kg each). Overall, he ate 7kg of fruit. How much did the apple weigh as a whole?

  2. The word problem is pretty good overall but I think you should change the phrase in the parentheses to "that weighs 1kg" instead of "that weighs 1kg each".
I also think you should take the phrase out of the parentheses because it is an important part of the equation. Other than that, the rest of the problem is fine.

  3. You should be more clear when you say that the banana weighs 1 kg because it seems like the apple also weighs 1 kg. Also, you guys should write "How much did 1 whole apple weigh?" instead of "How much did the apple weigh as a whole?" because it's kinda confusing.

  4. We thought this was a creative word problem but it was confusing at most parts, how you mentioned the different weights of the fruit. We got really confused at the last sentence/question when you asked, "How much did the apple weight as a whole?" I think it should have been worded differently than "weight as a whole." But overall it was very creative.
