1. Have you learned anything new in the first two chapters, or has all of this been review for you?
2. Do you feel like Mr. Jobe prepares you well for the quizzes and tests?
3. What has been your favorite part about math class so far? What has been your least favorite part?
4. What suggestions do you have to improve this class?
In the first two chapters, everything we learned was a review of somethings I nearly forgot. I feel that Mr. Jobe prepares us well for our tests and quizzes(partly because I didn't really study much). My favorite part of math class so far is probably the games to practice what we learned like the jeopardy-like game and battleship. I don't really have any suggestions to improve the class, because in my opinion, it's completely fine.
ReplyDeleteEverything learned so far was all review of things that I learned in my 6th grade class. I think Mr. Jobe prepares us well fro our quizzes and tests because when ever I don't study for tests or quizzes, I still get a pretty good grade. My favorite part of the class so far was games we played especially that relay race. I think this class is fine class so I have no suggestion for improvement
ReplyDeleteSo far, everything I've learned was a review for me, since I finished pre-algebra in 6th grade. In my opinion, Mr. Jobe prepares us well for our quizzes and tests, but I think Mr. Jobe should warn us a little ahead of time for tests, since I don't' want to practice at the last minute. My favorite part about this class has been the relay race and the hand-made battleship. It was fun, and we got to work as a group, which involved teamwork. As of now, i don't think that our class needs any improvement. I mean, it's always interesting with Mr. Jobe's funny jokes. :)
ReplyDeleteEverything learned so far was a review for me because I learned it in my 6th grade class and academies. I think Mr. Jobe prepares us well before quizzes and tests because because we review and answer questions on the board.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part about math class so far was learning the distributive property. My least favorite part was memorizing the six ways to answer a question.
I think this class is great so I do not have any suggestions.
Everything except for some properties I knew already but needed to review. I think that Mr. Jobe prepared us well for tests and quizzes because he went over everything that was in quizzes and I knew how to solve them. My favorite part of the class so far is the jeopardy(?) game we played in last class. I don't have any ideas on improving the class and think that Mr. Jobe teaches really well so I won't post it here.
ReplyDeleteSo far, everything seems to be going okay just fine. There are lots of quizzes we had to take and lots of numbers stuck in our head. We learned many things about some particular types of pre-algebra stuff. It is tough and stressful but it is worth it. Of course, we rushed a bit too much but it is useful to know it before having an entire week break. Mr. Jobe prepares lots of good ways to have a test or quiz so I think it is going to be a fun class this year.
ReplyDeleteI didn't learn anything new and it was all a review for me because during the summer I did finished the algebra course at a hagwon. I think that Mr. Jobe prepares us well for quizzes by putting up on the calendar when the test is going to be and by doing reviews in class. My favorite part of math class was when we played battleship. I don't think I have a least favorite part of math. I don't think we have to have improvements because Mr. Jobe teaches it well in a funny way.
ReplyDeleteEverything for me so far has been a review as I was at KIS in 6th grade but I forgot some things over the summer. I think Mr Jobe prepares us well for quizzes and tests as it has always been on the wiki. My favorite things about this class is the way we play games but are reviewing at the same time. I have nothing that I dislike about this class. As this class is really good already I have no suggestions on improving.
ReplyDeleteAll of them have been a review to me, since I have a tutor. However I forgot most of what I learned. Mr. Jobe prepares us well, since we have reviews and stuffs like that. I didn't really have a favorite part, though Mr. Jobe was pretty funny. There isn't any least favorite part either, I just don't like math. Maybe I should participate more, or at least try to do better at math. *=.=*
ReplyDeleteEverything I learned in the first two chapters has been a review for me. I either learned it from academies or 6th grade. I feel that Mr. Jobe does prepare us well for tests and quizzes. Mr. Jobe is always explaining in a funny way so that I can remember the equation better. My favorite part so far was playing battle-ship. It was an educational yet fun game to play so that we could learn and have fun~ (: The least favorite part for me was doing the properties because that was something I learned in 6th grade but I wasn't good at it and so I was very worried about that. Suggestions I have to improve this class is that there are none. I know I'm supposed to tell how this class can improve but I can't think of anything. If I can, I will say but so far, I have no suggestions!
ReplyDeleteEverything we did in this chapter was review for me. Even though I forgot most of them and got some of them back, I learned them before. In my opinion, Mr. Jobe teaches prepares us very well, exception to this test due to the storm. We would've have one more study period but we had to squeeze two periods together. I think he would prepare us more in the future. My favorite part about the math class so far is Mr. Jobe's VERY FUNNY............ jokes. He actually makes class fun. My least favorite part about class is the warm up...... I don't like to come into class and start work right away. I like to have my distance.
ReplyDeleteI think to improve this class more, we should to more activities that are fun. Even though we do a lot, I hope we could have MORE.

ReplyDelete1. Have you learned anything new in the first two chapters, or has all of this been review for you?
The first chapter was a review for me and the second chapter is new for me. So the first chapter I didn't have any problems but the second chapter, was not as easy as the first chapter
2. Do you feel like Mr. Jobe prepares you well for the quizzes and tests?
Yes! I think he prepared me well just that I got confused a little bit. He prepared me well by calling in for lunch and helping during lunch.
3. What has been your favorite part about math class so far? What has been your least favorite part?
My favorite part about math is when we do fun games about the unit like battle ship. My least favorite part is TESTS! I don't like tests. It makes me nervous and just scared..
4. What suggestions do you have to improve this class?
I think every 2 weeks, we should play a game about that unit. It could refresh us a little. When we just work all year, then we wouldn't like to come to math and that wouldn't be nice.
Thanks for the input, guys. Feedback is vital for a successful class. Something tells me that this is going to be a great year...

ReplyDeleteThe first two chapter have been a review for me, but I almost forgot I had learned that until we went over it. I personally think Mr. Jobe prepares us well. I just wish to get maybe like a study-guide to know exactly what to study and be prepared for, for the test. My favorite part about math class is when we do teamwork. I think we should use teamwork more often but with different students. I don't think I dislike anything about math class, yet. I think math class is fine the way it is right now, so I think I don't have anything to say for improving.
ReplyDeleteI learned this before in Korean school. So I learned a lot of new words, and it has been a great review for me.(:. In my opinion, Mr. Jobe prepares well for all quizzes and tests. Especially the word questions. My favorite part of learning are the games which helped me learn and have fun at the same time. And I don't have any least favorite parts, or suggestions. I like my prealgebra class (:
ReplyDeleteI learned this before with a tutor, but I forgot all the properties. I feel that Mr. Jobe prepares us well for tests. So far, the favorite part of math class this year was the games that we made at the end of the lesson. My least favorite part of math class so far was the daily warm-ups. If it is the first block in the morning, I feel very sleepy, and word problems don't come into my eyes. :) I really like this pre-algebra class, and I do not have any suggestions. :)
