ReplyDeleteMy favorite part was when you had to find pentagons near the cafeteria. Finding pentagons were hard, but it was pretty fun. Also, another part was when I was finding the area of field, it was really exciting even though it was very hot.

My least favorite part was when we were taking some photos, because taking those photos took lots of time. However, I understand that we needed to take some photos to make sure whether we cheated or not.
3)What would you change about the Scavenger Hunt to make it better? (Additions, Omissions, etc.)
I’d like Mr.Jobe to change things like finding the area of field , because it was extremely hot. Also, I’d like Mr.Jobe to change things like putting a question on the toilet door, because there was nowhere to solve the problem.

3) I wouldn't make any serious changes because Mr. Jobe did a really awesome job making sure we reviewed everything we learned this semester. But I think the locations could've been better... Don't get me wrong I loved being outside but the weather was excruciatingly hot to work under and the bathroom problem was a little awkward xD Overall it was really good though I loved this one!

ReplyDeleteI think my favorite part was where we had to solve the pentagon part as a lot of people were confused and it was challenging.

I think my least favorite part was where we were on the soccer field and we had to use the pythagorean theorem. Me and my partner did it in centimeters when we were supposed to do it in inches.

I think I would rather the weather was a a bit different as we were almost roasted out there but it was really fun.

1. My favorite part of the Scavenger hunt is when we had to solve the clues to figure out where to go next. I also liked how it was spread around the school so we got exercise xD! Also, it was funny how everyone thought that at the end, we had to do another worksheet when it was for algebra xD.
ReplyDelete2. My least favorite part was that Mr. Jobe was far away sometimes. So, when my partner and I solved a problem, we had to run a lot to get to Mr. Jobe, and if we got it wrong, we had to go back!!! D: I also didn't really like how we had to run but it was so hot outside.
3. I would make more clues that are challenging and take some time to solve because it would be fun :D!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite part was when we had to go to Mr. Katz's room and when we had to measure the foosball table. I also liked solving challenging clues in different parts of the building.

My least favorite part was when we had to measure a part of the soccer field using Pythagorean Theory and trying to take correct pictures of angles.

I want to do it inside the school building, rather than the field because the day was a bit hot.
My favorite part about the Scavenger Hunt was reading the problem to where to go. Some of them were really funny such as the one about Mr. Katz. I enjoyed looking at them and founding where they were.
ReplyDeleteMy least favorite part about the Scavenger Hunt was how far everything was. We had to go back and forth the field every time we got problems wrong. I was out of breath by the time the hunt was over.
If I could change one thing about the hunt I would change one thing. I would add in activities that require more moving. Such as ball catching or more sporty activities. It will make the hunt more interesting.

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite part about the Scavenger Hunt was it was all over the school, and we got to run around the school finding hints and taking pictures.

My least favorite thing was when we got the question wrong and had to run all the way back to the last destination.

If I could chance something about the scavenger hunt it would be the usage of the elevator. Running from place to place and back to Mr. Jobe's classroom was very tiring.

ReplyDelete2) My least favorite part was the soccer field problem with the triangle. At first, I was very confused at what the question meant. I didn't understand the question at all and once I solved what the question meant, I couldn't solve the actual question. My partner and I spent a long time on that question.
3) I would like to add other activities to solving the clue. For example, one could be that you need to film you and your partner acting out something or doing an exercise, etc.

ReplyDelete2) The triangle problem on the soccer field was my least favorite. I didn't understand the question so I sat there in the sun for about 20 minutes sweating tons of sweat as I argued with my partner.

I would change it to inside activity because it is not good to work on the fields doing maths. Also, I would make it more challenging and interesting.
